What is No Litter Glitter made from?
The base is made from sustainably farmed Non-GMO eucalyptus trees. Other ingredients: binder styrene, pigments, metallised layer aluminium.
What is conventional glitter made from?
Conventional glitter is made from plastic which is not only damaging to your skin but to our beautiful environment and inhabitants. Our glitter is marine and wastewater safe so feel free to cover yourself from head to toe and then wash it away guilt free!
How do I apply No Litter Glitter?
There are many ways to apply biodegradable glitter. Just pop something on like jojoba oil, coconut oil, aloe vera gel or shea butter wherever you want the glitter to stick and then dab the glitter on top. For a more long lasting look we use eyelash glue or cosmetic glitter glue!
Has No Litter Glitter been tested on animals?
Absolutely not! It is our number one priority that our products are not only safe for the environment but for the animals too. For this reason we have ensure our bio glitter hasn't been tested on animals at any point in the production process and is 100% vegan friendly!
What is the packaging made out of?
We use aluminium pots/ glass jars! It wouldn't really make sense for us to use plastic although its cheaper and more lightweight, we believe you can't put a price on the environment!
Is it as good as traditional glitter?
It is just as good if not, better! It still has the same reflective properties as traditional glitter and is made with the same precision cutting techniques however it is good for the environment. This is premium grade cosmetic glitter and we find it actually feels very soft and is much more delicate on the skin.
How does it biodegrade?
If you leave your glitter in a warm, moist and oxygenated environment then it will begin to biodegrade, the rate depends on the mixture of these factors. The product itself is very stable given you keep it well looked after in its pot.
